The Total Value of Free Care provided by RAM Volunteers reached $14,120.

LOCATION

Remote Area Medical® was recently asked to provide dental services to Knox County school age children (include college age) during the "Healthy Kids Rock!" Health Fair, coordinated in conjunction with Western Heights Dental Clinic. On Saturday August 9, volunteers set up a dental clinic at Northwest Middle School to provide free cleanings and other dental screenings to Knox County children just prior to the start of the 2012-13 school year. Dental issues found during the screenings will be addressed at a later date by dentists at Western Heights Dental Clinic. As with all other RAM expeditions, volunteers were greeted with smiles and words of thanks from patients and families throughout the day.

RAM was happy to work with Western Heights Dental Clinic and other volunteers, as well as all of the professional and general support volunteers who joined our team, to provide these vital services for the families and children of Knox County! THANK YOU!
